Can I use my existing business number?

Yes. BYOD (Bring Your Own DID) works with any SIP provider — Telnyx, Bandwidth, Twilio, VoIP.ms, Flowroute. Point the inbound route at our SIP URI; instructions are in your DID dashboard.

How much does it cost per call?

Roughly $0.10–$0.30 per minute depending on conversation length and voice model. OpenAI Realtime audio is where most of the cost goes. DIDs are pennies. Your starter credit + PAYG balance covers it.

What modes work on the phone?

Personal Assistant, Sales, Support, Order Taking, and Training. Each has its own phone-specific fields (voice, transfer number, max call length, custom greeting).

What happens to spam calls?

Pre-filtered using STIR/SHAKEN attestation plus a known-spam blocklist before the AI engages. Confirmed spam never reaches OpenAI.

Does the AI know who's calling?

Yes via caller ID. If the number matches a known caller (your phone book), the AI uses their custom greeting and routing label. If caller ID is withheld, the AI asks for a callback number.

Can one DID serve multiple modes?

Yes. The AI asks a quick disambiguation question — 'Are you calling about sales, support, or to place an order?' — then routes the call into the chosen mode.

Can I receive a transcript email?

Yes. Phone Center → Recent Calls shows every call with transcript and any captured rows. You also get an email per call.
